Hi, I’m Barb Milwood.
I am thrilled you are here on my page. Over the years, I have had many opportunities to put my undergraduate degree to work creating beautiful SPACES for my family and friends, but it was never anything more than a hobby. Along the way, I received gentle nudges that when I was ready to leave the corporate life, I should turn my hobby into my career. So, here we are.
I started Happy Habitat Design Co. because I love helping people create SPACES that feel personal, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together. My approach blends beauty and practicality, with an emphasis on smaller projects, meaningful transitions, and real-life budgets.
Whether I am helping design a dorm room, prepare a nursery, refresh a home office SPACE, or create comfort and familiarity in senior living quarters, my goal is always the same: to make the process approachable and to create a finished SPACE that feels truly special.
I look forward to bringing your vision to life, one BIG moment and small SPACE at a time.
